Carrefour Brings Down the Price On Essential Items



Carrefour Malaysia has recently initiates the launch of "Stretch Your Ringgit" Campaign which focusses on pegging prices for many essential everyday products.Ths is Carrefour's commitment and continuous investment towards supporting the Government's Second Stimulus Package plan: to ease the burden of the people,in particular the vulnerable groups,so that they will still be able to do their normal groceries,despite the global economic slowdown.

The essential items on the reduced price list,among others are milk,rice,noodles,bread,cooking oil,detergent,baby diapers and fresh items such as fruits and vegetables.The items selected for this campaign are among top products surveyed constantly which reflect the customers' needs and immediate preferences.

Now,anyone can buy essentials items like 5kg Cooking Oil for RM10,10kg of Super Special Rice at RM19, Jacob Cream Cracker 800kg at RM10.These are among some 45 items with a pegged price and additionally,there are among more than 1,000 other essential items being offered with serious savings for the consumers. It is Carrefour's intention to help the consumers stretch their Ringgit while weathering the current financial hurdles.All 17 Carrefour stores nationwide are also launching the campaign simultaneously in celebrations dedicated to their customers.
