Guardian Pay Tribute to Its Customer Care Champions



Guardian ,the leading pharmacy,health and beauty retail chain organized a nationwide Customer Care campaign to identify and acknowledge employees whom have potrayed exceptional customer service.The campaign was kicked off early this year where each store nominated a candidate from two categories;management level-keyholders,supervisor and executives and the staff level-cashiers and sales assistants.Judging was based on the best customer service attributes including greetings,decorum,offering further assistance and going the extra mile.Nominated employees will be narrowed down to 13 candidates who were than selected to compete in a national Customer Care Competition held at Guardian Suria KLCC and the customer care champions walked away with a cash prize of RM1,000 each with 1st runner up taking home RM700 each and 2nd runner up ,RM500 each.The finalists were also given RM100 cash and a certificate of appreciation.

Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix 2009 F1 Promises A Combo of Music & Motorsports

Entering its 11th edition ,the 2009 Formula One Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix is the second round of a 17-leg world championship this season and would be held from April 3 to 5.Speaking the media launch recently, officiated by Sepang International Circuit (SIC) Chairman Dato’ Mokhzani Mahathir,SIC Chief Executive Officer Mr Razlan Razali said It's going to be a very different kind of Formula One event in Sepang this year as the race would be starting later at 5pm this year instead of usual 3pm.He believes it's going to be more enjoyable for the drivers and competing teams as well as fans as it would be a much cooler race this year.

Targeting a full-capacity of 130,000 spectators for the race,Mr Razlan said F1 enthusiasts would be treated to 360 degree experience to cherish,with free access to the Mall area on Friday April 3 to savour the track practice and qualifying session.Running up to the event,fans could also win themselves attractive rewards and goodies at the pre-event road shows.A post-race open-air concert featuring superstar Jamiroquai will be among the new additions of supporting events for the upcoming 2009 Formula One Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix,which promoter Sepang International Circuit (SIC) aimed to make as the best ever.

Takaful Malaysia Enters RM12 Million IT Services Contract with HP

Reunion Joy For Senior Citizens At Pavillion KL


Pavillion Kuala Lumpur has brought joys to a group of Malaysian seniors citizens from Rumah Charis,Rumah Sejahtera Seri Setia and Caring Old Folks Home recently when it hosted a Chinese New Year celebration with a spectacular performance and a sumptuous New Year feast in conjunction with its "First Anniversary Celebration".Joining in the festivities was guest-of-honour,YB Dato' Sri Dr Ng Yen Yen,Minister of Women Family and Community Development.
Upon arrival,the senior citizens were greeted by the Majestic Golden Bull which showers golden luck to anyone who touches it's forehead for good health and fortune as the group gathered around the 11-feet statue for a group photo .The gathering was both a treat as well as a special gesture from Pavillion KL as it paid tribute to the elders by staying true to the traditional value of filial piety.The special guests were treated to a traditional Chinese singing performance by the renowned YuDi ,which brought back many fond memories for the leders who clearly enjoyed the wonderful live performance.Chinese New Year is a time-honoured and cherished occasion which is meant to reassert old customs and traditions.Traditions are very special to Chinese families as they serve both a glorious link to the past and an auspicious bridge to the future.Our relationship with our elders are also part of this bridge," said YB Dato' Sri Dr Ng Yen Yen.
