Sony Centre New Flagship Launched at Subang Parade Shopping Centre



Sony Malaysia in collaboration with Best Denki Malaysia Sdn Bhd has officially launched the dealer’s 2nd Sony Centre at Subang Parade shopping centre recently. It marks yet another milestone for both Sony Malaysia and Best Denki as the Sony Centre outlet the opening of this outlet is poised to provide the convenience of a neighbourhood Sony Centre to the people of Subang Jaya and the community within the vicinity. The latest Sony Centre is the 56th Sony Centre in Malaysia and the 1st in Subang area and this outlet offers extensive range of Sony audio and visual products, ranging from BRAVIA LCD and home theatre line-up to Cybershot, Handycam, Walkman and VAIO products. There is also a Sony Full HD World rack that comprises of the wide line-up of Sony Full HD products; Blu-ray corner showcasing Blu-ray products such as Blu-ray Disc Player and BD titles; and a VAIO corner for consumers to touch and feel VAIO products.


At the same time to get hands-on experience with Sony’s cameras and camcorders, customers can also visit the Cybershot and Handycam corner at this Sony Centre in Subang Parade. For those who are fans of Sony PSP, there is a PSP corner where avid gamers can experience the adrenaline rush of playing Sony PSP games or check out the exciting accessories and game titles to add to their PSP collections. The opening of this latest Sony Centre will also add to the portfolio of the shopping centre, as the preferred place to shop for electronics products, lifestyle gadgets and more, attracting more patrons to the shopping centre. “We believe that this Sony Centre has the potential to draw patrons to the shopping centre,” said Mr. Chiw Yew Meng, Senior Manager, Head of Area Sales, Consumer Sales Division, Sony Malaysia. “Customers will love the convenience of having VAIO kiosk here at Subang Parade because there’s no outlets around this area that carry VAIO products,” he added. Sony Centre serves as an effective platform for Sony to convey its marketing message and also for the company to reach out to customers directly. Sony Centre’s opening at Subang Parade is another of Sony Malaysia’s on-going effort to encourage dealers to be part of Sony Designated Store (SDS) programme.
