COLGATE Gives Back to The Community with The Launch of Colgate Kayu Sugi Charity Campaign




COLGATE has recently launched its Colgate Kayu Sugi Charity campaign "Mari Beramal bersama Colgate" at Kuala Lumpur.Present to launch the event were Her Honorable Pn Noriah ,Deputy Minister of Women ,Family and Community Development ,Mr Lefteris Vitalis ,General Manager of Colgate-Palmolive Malaysia and Mr Bukhari Che Muda ,Chief Operating Officer of TV9 .It's understand, this campaign will benefit the orphanages from around the country as every pack of Colgate Kayu Sugi 175g with sticker purchased begins from 31st October 2008 and onwards, a RM 0.10 cts will be distributed to the orphanages selected by Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Malaysia.The campaign which starts from 1st September concurrent with the Ramadhan and ends on the 31st October is one of the many activities undertaken by Colgate-Palmolive to show its appreciation and support for the community ,in line with its commitment to touch the lives of Malaysians not just through its products but through its active participation within the community.Mr Lefteris Vitalis , General Manager of Colgate-Palmolive Malaysia said, "Colgate is committed to improve the quality of life in the communities through out the world.Hence we have dedicate our time and effort as well as financial resource to support programs,event and organisations relating to among others: education, health .community and culture.He added ,"The Colgate Kayu Sugi charity campaign is one of Colgate-Palmolive's ways of contributing not only to improving oral healthcare but also in the development of community well being.Examples of these activities include Colgate's Bright Smiles Futures program and Colgate's Oral Health Month.



In conjunction with Colgate Kayu Sugi "Mari Beramal Bersama Colgate" campaign launch, Colgate-Palmolive Malaysia has also announced the Colgate Kayu Sugi sponsorship of Upin & Ipin,a popular award winning local animation.The program which imparts good values and easily understand by children will be screened on TV9 from September until October this year.
