SONY: Walkman New Series A Force To be Reckoned With


Sony Malaysia has unveils the latest Walkman NWZ-A820 AND NWZ-A720 series with the new and enhanced features as well as the cool new Walkman NWD-E020F series in a Walkman is... campaign launch at Berjaya Time Square on the 31 May 2008.These latest additions Sony Walkmans are poised to spice up mobile music lovers who seeks style and functionality for that ultimate music entertaintment on the go.They are designed specifically not only to target young generation and but also the young at heart who are always on the go.The objective of this Sony Walkman is...campaign is to revitalize the Walkman consumer market and at the same time introducing the latest trend and features in mobile entetainment to promote Sony Walkman MP3 players as the perfect companion for people to enjoy their favorites tunes.Mr Naoi Sudo,Managing Director of Sony Malaysia explained, the campaign is also to create platform for Walkman branding,allowing Walkman to express its own unique characteristics through various programmes and activities being organised throughout this campaign.He added,Sony NWZ-A820 Series will allow users to enjoy their wireless music at any place anytime while the NWZ-A720 series enhances the video viewing experience with its large QVGA LCD screen.Both of these latest Walkman will be available in 4GB,8GB and 16GB models with the capability to store up an impressive 62 hours of video or3800 songs and support open audio formats of MP3,non-secure AAC3,security-enhanced Windows Media Audio (WMA).The 2.4-inch QVGA LCD screen (320 x 240 pixels) displays up to 262,144 colours delivering smooth high resolution playback at up to 30 frames per second combined with vibrant and accurate colour reproduction.In addition the new NWZ-A820 series which incorporates Bluetooh wireless technology also allows users to enjoy greater flexibility as videos and images can be viewed in either horizontal or vertical screen mode.Next the Walkman E series was also introudced in the campaign,featuring replaceable Style-up panels that allow users to change the colour of their Walkman to suit their wardrobe or mood.This fashionable gadget is available in 1GB and 2GB Models which can store up to an impressive 1,350 songs or 90 hours worth of music and it comes in five different sets:Pure White and Precious Gold;Luxury Pink and Jewel Pink;Ocean Blue and Forest Green;Urban Black and Shiny Silver;as well as Blazing Redand Indigo Blue.In addition,users can choose from 10 optional Style-up panels to complementtheir varied lifestyles.The campaign also witnessed the popular dance group known as Racken Force being appointed as the group ambassodor for the latest Walkman NWD-E020F series.The campaign was held from 31 May to 1 June with series of programme and activities like cheerleading performances by CHARM,skateboard demonstration,dance performance by Racken Force and other stage activites.For further information kindly log on to http://www.sony.com.my/
