Kawasaki Malaysia Powers Up Its Production Line With New Power Plant


Kawasaki Motors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (KMSB) previously known as Kawasaki Sunrock Sdn Bhd has officially launched its new premise at Hicom Glenmarie Industrial Park,Shah Alam on 10th June 2008 in line with its introduction of two new premium completely knock down(CKD) super bikes at Holiday Inn.The launch of the new premise which was themed "A Legend Reborn" was officiated by YB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Bin Haji Mohd.Yassin,Minister of International Trade and Industry ,YM Raja Dato' Executive Chairman of KMSB and Mr Takeshi Sugawara ,Kawasaki Heavy Industries,Ltd.Boasted with 35,000 sq ft in space and a wor,the new premise is equipped with modern facilities and provides excellent After sales service for super bikes customers with inventory spare-parts worth up to RM10 million for CBU and CKD bikes.The production area (CKD plant) is about 15,000 sq ft comprises of two assembly lines,sub-assembly area,final inspection area,the CKD storage and the finished good storage is capbable of producing a total of 1000 units per month with 500 units for bikes below 150cc and 500 units for bikes above 150cc .Kawasaki Motors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd which is reckoned as the sole importer and distributor of Kawasaki motorcycles,Jet Skis,All Terrain Vehicle (ATV),Mule,Recreation Utility Vehicle (RUV),Power Products,Spare Parts and accessories will focus business direction in premium Superbikes 200cc and beyond with its current workforce of 63 highly trained staffs .
