Carlsberg-The official sponsor and partner of EURO 2008 has rewarded the grand winner of Carlsberg's Golden Ticket Promotion Final Showdown",Mr Lam Wai Loong with Golden Grand Prize on 30 May 2008 at Genting Highland.The prize comprises of not only an all expanses paid trip to watch the Euro 2008 quarterfinal match live in Switzerland with a partner in a premium seats at the stadium but also to present the "Carlsberg Man Of The Match" trophy right afer the game.Joining the grand prize winner on the all expanses paid trip to watch a live match at Euro 2008 will be three other top participants namely-Mr Wong Kien Min,Mr Tie Sing Hock and Mr Jason Puah where they too will be allowed to bring along with them a partner to Euro 2008 ,Switzerland.The Grand Final Showdown which was held in Genting Highland witnessed 15 Grand Finalists from Carlsberg's Golden Ticket Promotion contest battling it out in 9 various type of outdoor and indoor challenges that tested their nerves,wit,mental and physical prowess.In one of the challenges the finalists were asked to climb up a sheer rock face which tested not only their physical ability but also their mental strength,next the finalists were put up against the fears-factors style challenge which the particpants must put up a gutsy show by holding a huge iquana aloft and taking a picture together with it.On top of that extra points were given to those who dared to plant a kiss on the iquana!In another challenge,the finalists were tested on their football dribbling skills on ice!Wearing thick jackets and snow boots,they had to dribble around cones n the shortest time possible to earn points.During the prize presentation at Safari Disco,Genting Highland,media partners were also in the thick of the action,by pitting their football knowledge against each other.In the hotly contested trivia game,the winning media team was crowned champion and was awarded a trip to Anfield,Liverpool.For more information visit
