Ambank:To Provide ATMs Banking Services in 400 7-Eleven Outlets

In strategic tie up for convenience in banking,Ambank (M) Berhad has signed a strategic co-operation agreement with 7-Eleven Malaysia Sdn Bhd which will enable it to install 400 Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) at 400 7-Eleven stores nationwide.The installation period of all 400 ATMs at 7-Eleven stores is expected to take approximately two years.Nine 7-Eleven outlets located at the following areas in Kuala Lumpur -Jalan Hang Kasturi,Berjaya Complex,Pandan Jaya,Pandan Indah,Taman Maluri,Taman Melati and Megamall Kuantan in Kuantan have been installed with ATMs.These ATMs will operate from 2am to 12 midnight. Azmi Mahmood,Managing Director,Retail Banking,AmBank (M) Berhad said the installation will offer banking convenience to our customers and also to position AmBank as the bank of choice to the customers.He added the entire project will cost about RM25millions .Mr Ng Su Onn,Executive Director 7-Eleven Malaysia Bhd said the tie with AmBank will bring more banking services to our customers.The services available at AmBank's ATMs located at the 7-Eleven stores are cash withdrawal,fund transfer,utility bill payment,loan repayments such as hire purchase and housing loan,as well as inter-bank fund transfer.
