PORSCHE: V8 Cayenne GTS The Perfect SUV
Since its first appearance 5 years ago (in 2003) the Cayenne model has proven to be the most sought after Porsche cars in Malaysia with 60% shares in sales are Cayenne's.This phenomenon will most likely continue with the recent launched of the new Porsche Cayenne GTS model by Dato' Mokhzani,Chairman of Jaseri Automotive Group at Kuala Lumpur.The new Cayenne GTS is the first Model within Cayenne range to feature a combination of already well known suspension system PASM(Porsche Active Suspension Management) and PDCC(Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control) anti-roll stability system proven on Porsche's sports cars for an un-compromising road holding characteristics.The optional coupled with the standard PASM system provide near perfect compensation of body roll under nearly all driving conditions.This will further reinforce the Porsche Cayenne as the best handling SUV in the world.Malaysian market will enjoy a higher specs car as the new GTS will be equipped with new air suspension setup that lowered it by 20 mm from the Cayenne and Cayenne S and Tiptronic S for improved handling without sacrificing comfort.The power packed V8 ,4.8 liter engine has been tweaked to 405bhp at 6500rpm giving it an additional 20hp more than the Cayenne S and the "Sports Button" is featured as standard in the new Cayenne GTS.This shall offer the driver the choice of a basic setting for optimised fuel economy and sport mode for a particularly sports-oriented driving qualities.The final drive ratio on this new Cayenne GTS has been shortened from 3.55 to 4.1 against 1.Together with the more powerful engine,the GTS offers an even better acceleration and greater agility.Acceleration is now from 0 to 100km/h in just6.1 seconds,0.5 seconds faster than Cayenne S,an amazing feat considering the SUV gross weight is more than 2 tonnes!The new Cayenne GTS that incorporates sophisticated fittings with 12way Alcantra sporty adjustable mode is retailed at RM858,000.
