Castrol Honours Malaysian Bike Industry with Award Presentation



Castrol, the country’s leading premium engine oil, recently honours the unsung heroes of the Malaysian bike industry for their various contributions to local motorsports at a special tribute awards presentation themed "CASTROL POWER 1 BIKE NITE".The event emcee by local celebrity Ms Sarimah was organised to establish Castrol’s continuing commitment in supporting the Malaysian bike industry – the frontline racers and the people behind the scenes – and its sponsorship of the San Carlo Honda Gresini Racing Team in Moto GP.Present at the launch were Mr Mark Ng Castrol's Head of Marketing and Castrol's San Carlo Honda Gresini riders Mr Shinya Nakano and Mr Alex De Angelis and the team.



“Biking is populated by passionate individuals who take the sport seriously,” notes Mark Ng, Castrol’s Head of Marketing. “Whether they are perfectionists or self-starters, bike racing is a sport and a lifestyle for them.”The four main categories of awards on the evening were Castrol Motorcycle Community Achievement, Castrol Motorsports Rising Star, and Castrol Motorsports Life Achievement awards.The San Carlo Honda Gresini Moto GP team made an exclusive appearance at the CASTROL POWER 1 BIKE NITE event to lend their support in honouring the true heroes of the Malaysian bike industry.
