Honda-NSX Teams Thrives On Wits And Not Just Speed In The 2008 Super-GT Race

The Super GT fever was high at the honda Super GT party held at Barcelona,Sunway Pyramid on the 19 June 2008 in the run up to the 2008 Super GT race .Honda Malaysia brought in all five Honda-NSX Teams to party along with the media,business partners and Honda customers.
The five Honda-NSX Teams are Autobacs Racing Team Aguri who is the 2007 Super GT Series Champion,Real Racing with Leon ,Dome Racing Team,Epson Nakajima and Team Kunimitsu.
In his welcoming speech ,Mr Atsushi Fujimoto,Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd said "Honda has come a long way since their first participation in the Japan GT race in 1997 .They have constantly strived in developing the skills,the teams and the technologies throughout the years. He added Super GT is not just about a battle of speed but a battle of minds.It is rising above the challenge and pushing beyond our limits.He explained further racing and motorsports are deeply rooted in Honda's DNA. It is Honda's Reason to Exist.

At the party,the five Honda-NSX Teams shared their experience, challenges and target goals for Super GT 2008 and challenged some of the media and Honda's customers to a game of remote-controlled cars.

The highlight of the night was the performance by the GT Girls,who entertained the audience with their talented singing and dancing.

Kawasaki Motors Malaysia has unleashed it's two Premium Completely Knock Down (CKD) Superbikes,The Kawasaki-Ninja 250R and the immensely popular Kawasaki ER-6n on 10th June 2008 at Holiday Inn,Shah Alam.The event was officiated by YB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Bin Haji Mohd.Yassin,Minister of International Trade and Industry,YM Raja Dato's Hanipuddin Bin Raja Dato' Nong Chik,Executive Chairman of KMSB,Mr Takeshi Suguwara,Executive Officer Kawasaki Heavy Industries.Ltd. and Mr Jeffrey Lim,the General Manager of KMSB. Top-class supersport styling Kawasaki Ninja 250R is empowered by a 249cm,Liquid-cooled ,DOHC Parallel 4-stroke parallel Twin Engine ( DOHC, 8 valves) with twin Keihin CVK30 carburettors to deliver smooth and step-free riding.The 250R is equipped with 6-speed, return transmission that performs a maximum power of 24kW (33PS) at 11,000rpm and a maximum torque of 22Nm at 9,500rpm .
